Amnesty International

Mission

Amnesty International aims to promote an in-depth understanding of pressing human rights and social justice issues on the CMC campus.

Since the CMC chapter of Amnesty International was established in the fall of 2015, students have focused primarily on generating awareness on campus, fundraising initiatives for the Syrian refugee crisis, as well as passing a procurement policy through The Enough Project’s conflict free campus initiative. Students have also participated in regional conferences for Amnesty International and other human right organizations nationwide.
