Biography
Hi all! My name is Tori and I’m from Seattle, WA majoring in Economics-Accounting with a sequence in Leadership Studies. I have been planning events as a member of the Events Team since my freshman year — first as Director of Events Operations and as Vice President of Student Activities. Outside of ASCMC, I am a Handley Fellow, a First Year Guide, a member of Claremont Accounting Association, and a tutor! My favorite part of my job as VPSA is getting the privilege to work with so many different people on campus, including other students, DOS, public safety, facilities, and staff!
Responsibilities
The Senior Class President is responsible for planning 200 Days, 100 Days, the Vegas Trip and various class events throughout the year. They also act as the liaison for the senior class and must regularly attend Executive Board and Senate hearings. They should also expect to meet frequently with the Dean of Students office. Class presidents should also maintain a class cabinet, comprised of fellow students to provide counsel and help execute events. The Senior Class President also graduates as their class president, and so is President for Life. In this role, they are on the Alumni Board and play a role in community building and reunions post CMC.
